We can all agree that a healthy lifestyle is so much more than proper nutrition and exercise. We need to care for our whole mind, body, and lifestyle in order to truly stay healthy. This is why I did some research to determine the best life planning apps currently on the market.

I have no doubt that you’ll be able to pick a few of these life planning apps from my list to apply to your life! They’ve been great for helping me to manage my busy and hectic lifestyle, so I’m sure they’ll be able to help you as well.

If you’ve ever felt stressed or overwhelmed, this post is going to be very helpful for you. These life planning apps will help you align your life and get things back on track. Hopefully, these apps will help make your life feel like less of a juggling act.

Life Planning Apps for Organizing Your Life

1. Edison Assistant

Edison Assistant helps you manage a variety of different tasks. It can help you book meetings, check your schedule, pull contact information from your phone for you to use, etc.

The best part about Edison Assistant is that it pulls in important information from other apps on your device to help keep you as organized as possible.

2. Todoist

Some of us have to-do lists longer than our arms. That can be a defeating and overwhelming feeling.

Well, Todoist is a life planning app that helps you get everything out of your head and written down. It lets you add tasks, categorize, and prioritize them however you please.

This helps to keep things clear and keep your first priorities just that, FIRST.

3. Trello

Trello is great for helping individuals, families, and teams manage both individual and shared projects. It literally lets you track whatever needs tracking.

Similar to Todoist, Trello lets you categorize these projects or tasks, set deadlines, and give them different levels of prioritization.

It truly is a great way to keep things organized in your life!

4. Smarter Time

Sometimes, time just flies and you have no idea where it when. In order to become a time-management expert, you need to know where your time is actually going.

Smarter Time helps you to track your activity automatically. It works best if you log your time, but the app will attempt to fill in the blanks when you don’t, based on your previous habits.

The more data you give Smarter Time to work with, the more detailed its reports will be. It can tell you everything from how you spend most your do to which apps are wasting the most of your time. It even lets you set goals to help you change how you’re spending your time.

It’s a great life planning app for those of you seeking to develop better time-management skills!

Life Planning Apps for Managing Your Finances

5. Splitwise

If you have a roommate, friends, or family who you split expenses with than this app will really help. Keeping track of who paid for what and who owes who what amount can get complicated super quick.

So let Splitwise do this for you. All you have to do is enter the expense, who paid what portion, and then let Splitwise determine who owes who what. It’s as simple as that.

No need for any more 8th-grade math.

6. Mint

Mint is an all-in-one money management tool. It’s easy on the eyes and easy to use.

Mint helps you to bring all your money tracking into one location. You can use this app to easily create budgets, check your bills and balances, check your credit score, it can even make some suggestions for you based on your spending habits.

Additionally, Mint will send you reminders when its time to pay your bills so you never miss another payment and will warn you when your funds are running low.

7. Venmo

Do you hate owing people money? I know I do.

That’s why when Venmo came along I was thrilled. Venmo essentially lets you text people money and quickly pay people back the money you owe them with ease.

There’s no more worry about exchanging cash or having to hop onto your online banking to get people the money you owe them. It’s a simple as a few clicks on your phone and then you can rest easy!

Elevate: Brain Training helps you take your mental abilities to the next level. This helps you improve your focus, speaking abilities, processing speed, memory, math skills, and much more.

Additionally, Elevate provides you with a personalized training program that adjusts the more you use the app. This helps you maximize the results of your brain training.

9. Lumosity: Daily Brain Games

Lumosity is another brain training app that helps you keep your mind sharp with its free training program.

The Lumosity app has been able to gamify the daily habit of acquiring knowledge and learning. You’d never know that as you play the daily games and challenges that you’re actually improving your critical thinking, memory, and problem-solving skills at the same time!

11. MyFitnessPal

If you’re someone with a variety of fitness goals, then MyFitnessPal is going to be your new best friend. This app helps you track and manage all of your weight, fitness, and nutrition so you can reach your goals.

MyFitnessPal lets you log your exercises as well as your food intake so that you can continually progress towards your goals. And, if you’re ever in need of support, MyFitnessPal gives you access to the support and motivation from the app community! You aren’t in this alone!

You can create your own goals or let the app create them for you based on the information and details you enter. Regardless of how you use this app, it’s going to help you track and progress towards your fitness-related goals.

12. Evernote

Most people at this point have probably at least heard of Evernote. It’s been a popular app for over 10 years.

Evernote allows you to save nearly any photos, documents, notes or other information that you wish in one location which you can easily access. Once you’ve uploaded it to Evernote you can access these files across all of your synced devices.

This life planning app has helped me on multiple occasions to get access to important information I either forgot when I left the house or when I found spare time to get some work done throughout my day.

Even if you just use this app as a means of storing these files, you will not regret it.  

Life Planning App for Managing Your Reading

13. Pocket

If you’re like me, you have an essentially never-ending reading list. This is why I found Pocket so great.

Pocket lets you save, read, and listen to your favorite news, stories, and videos from across the internet whenever you like. It lets you create a reading list of all the information that you’re bombarded with throughout the day. This allows you to create a space that only contains the information that actually you’re interested in reading.

Don’t waste your time combing through articles that aren’t important to you. Let Pocket help you focus in on the information that actually interests you!
